Since the wedding is on Thursday, December 31st (New Year's Eve!), we encourage guests to arrive on Wednesday, December 30th or even earlier. This gives you time to settle in before the festivities and allows you to take advantage of the long holiday weekend to explore New Orleans! While we love your little ones, our ceremony doesn't begin until 7:00 PM and the celebration runs late into the night, so we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only affair. Like any major city, New Orleans is perfectly safe as long as you use the same common sense you'd use visiting London, Paris, or any other popular destination. Stick with your group if you're out late, keep an eye on your phone and wallet in crowded areas, and be aware of your surroundings. The neighborhoods where you'll be spending most of your time as a guest are well-traveled and lively. We want you to relax, explore, and have a fantastic time, just don't leave your purse hanging off the back of a barstool.

Absolutely! We welcome you to capture moments throughout the celebration. We will have a professional photographer documenting the day, so we encourage you to be present, put your phones away during key moments, and focus on celebrating with us. We promise to share all the professional photos with you after the wedding!
